    IP Communication

    Title:
    IP Communication
    Description:
I've got two items for you....

Suggestion: When only one NIC is available on a machine, automatically select it and supress the NIC selection window in WWB.

Issue: I was trying to access an Axient installation in my office via a remote VPN. The correct network adapter shows up in the NIC selection window, but no communication actually happens. I worked around this by installing WWB 6.1.5 on a machine on the same subnet as the Axient and then RDP'd into that machine.

    Blue Shading for exclusion zones

    Title:
    Blue Shading for exclusion zones
    Description:
    Hi,

In a previous version of WWB6 (probably about 6-10 versions ago) any exclusion zones or ranges that were manually added under the Frequency Coordination page would be shown as a shaded blue area on the screen. They were displayed in a similar way to any active TV channels that are highlighted in red.

Will this be re-implemented as it was a very nice little visual to have?

    Printed Reports

    Title:
    Printed Reports
    Description:
The report, in my opinion, needs to be customizable for size, etc., to fit on one page. I have to print 3 pages for 14 devices with their spares -- it would be nice if I could get this all on one page.

    Choosing Frequencies
Topic posted December 6, 2011 by bsaudioCompetent in Wireless Workbench > All Feature Request Topics public
    Title:
    Choosing Frequencies
    Description:
I realize that the final goal of WWB6 is to let the software be hooked up to all the hardware and let it manage everything, but, I would like the ability to choose my frequency sets (like you can in IAS) versus just seeing the final result. Sometimes the primary and backup frequencies don't always work, and then you have to re-coordinate, and hope it chooses new channels. It would be nice to have the option of seeing a list of available frequencies, and then be able to choose from there if the user wants to go that route.
