    Battery meter timescales for UR4s
    Description:
    Me Again,
not sure if this is on "the list"
Noticed today while online to some UR4s that the battery meters in WWB6 don't give you the timescales like WWB5 used to.
Even though they were a bit vague it was handy to be able to glance at the screen and see which transmitters were down to '2-4 Hrs' etc

It was nice, can we have it back, please.

    Thank You. :D

    Title:
    Coordination Report Default folder
    Description:
Sam, when I try and save the coordination report after a new freq calc ... WWB does not remember the last folder used. Every other save dialog box remembers the folder I used last to save that type of file ... except the coordination report.

It defalts to My Documents/Shure/Reports every time.

    pls fix.

    Device Wizard

    Title:
    Device Wizard
    Description:
Harman has just released an interesting new feature for their HiQNet software. They are able to find all HiQNet devices on the network regardless of IP or Subnet mask. Once found they allow the user to configure the device network settings.

This would be a great little feature as I often have to troubleshoot user IP related issues.

    Recommended Equipment Purchase Band
Topic posted February 17, 2012 by jchristieProficient in Wireless Workbench > All Feature Request Topics public
    Title:
    Recommended Equipment Purchase Band
    Description:
Sam, I am regularly asked by clients and sales reps which frequency band they should purchase for their inventory.

Can we setup a dialog box or wizard off of the Add new device dialog box which allows for a quick calculation by workbench in each of the available bands.

    For example:

SLX systems might provide the following results ...
    G4 - 8 systems
    G5 - 4 systems
    H5 - 3 systems
    J3 - 7 systems
    L4 - 12 systems

The user could then have the option to add the band with the best results.

Calcs should be done at Standard spacing settings.
This should be either a defeatable check box or nested dialog box as it will require some processing time and is not always a needed feature.

It is a great sales tool. Reps or tech support personnel can keep client show files for their area or key clients allowing for easy future expansion to their system and less over saturation of frequency bands.

For that matter eager users who maintain their own frequency management are able to better request the correct products for their needs.

    Title:
    coordination export data
    Description:
    Using WWB6 ver. 6.2.1.34
No hardware connected for this session.

When performing a frequency coordination, the "calculating new frequncies" section allows the user to export a coordination report. While this report includes a column for group and channel, no data is supplied.

    Change Zones of Backup Frequencies

    Title:
    Change Zones of Backup Frequencies
    Description:
Sam & Co., it is a pain to move inventory around amongst zones and not have the ability to have the Backup Frequencies follow.

Ideally, I would like a dialog box to come up after an item is moved from zone to zone, asking what quantity of Backup freq. should also move.

And in the Channel Management window where all the backups are listed, Backup freq should be able to be changed from zone to zone.

    Title:
    Deployment Unsuccessful Error Message
    Description:
After calculating the CFL and choosing to Deploy to Inventory, I am getting a Deployment Unsuccessful window that lists some exclusion threshold errors relating to the AXT600. The error sentences are listed below:

Failed to verify threshold -85 dBm in device (AXT600). Actual variable read 0 dBm.
Failed to verify threshold value in SM.
Failed to verify threshold -85 dBm in device (AXT600). Actual variable read 0 dBm.

I have checked the threshold value settings of the AXT600 properties to confirm its set at -85 dBm. Still keep getting the same error message. The CFL is being deployed to the SM and to networked devices correctly.

    Laptop:
    HP Pavilion dv7
    Intel i7 Quad 720 @ 1.60 GHz, 8.0 GB ram
64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

    My setup:
    AXT600
    AXT400A
    AXT900
    UR4D
    P10T

    RF Mute problem?
Topic posted January 18, 2012 by JEskewNovice in Wireless Workbench > All Bug Topics public
    Title:
    RF Mute problem?
    Description:
I have a demo rack in the office with four receivers and 2 body packs syncronized. I am out of the office and working remotely via WWB. In order to extend the battery life of the body packs, I started to set them to RF Mute.

When I set the first TX to RF Mute via WWB 6.1.5, it correctly stopped transmitting and the indication showed RF Mute. However, WWB also showed 'calculating' and a spinning wait cursor. I have not been able to remotely turn the transmitter back on.

After I got done with my other experiments and as I was writing this note, I tried setting RF mute on the 2nd body pack. I'm getting the same results on it and can't turn it back on remotely.

Device firmware for all units is 1.7.2 and I'll see if the same thing happens with 1.7.5 (included with WWB 6.1.5) when I can get back to the shop and have physical access to the units.

As a last experiment, I exited WWB and re-entered the application. At that point, I was able to re-enable TX on the body packs. Now, having come back into WWB, I can enable and disable RF Mute at will with no errors.
