You can write a macro in Excel that takes the CSV file and formats it to your liking. I do it when I export IAS to Excel.  (Easier on a PC)  Then you can sort as you need.   If I can do it you can : )

I number mics A1, B2, C3, D4...  PITA but it works, for me.

And, it would let one add two xmitters with the same freqs when there's a good reason for doing so, as IAS does.  500.125 and 500.1251, for example.

Yea, a quick start guide!  Excellent.  If only Smaart would have one.

I sent it to a couple non-power users and will see how they fare and will reply with requests, if any.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Sam.

    1) I manually download WWB6 and SUU from this forum so they're always current.

    2)  I am on a W7 SP1 machine.  How does one unzip the .pack?  Not by right-clicking.

    3) Seems to me, as I still can't update from within the applications, that it's simpler to download updates from the forum when the application says there's an update, and install the updater as I do most application updates.

I'm not complaining, mind you, I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong, if it works for others.  WWB6 rules.

Nice, however VER shipped me many UR4S units and my WWB file that I created in my office used UR4D units and I couldn't merge.  Manually transferring freqs is not a good idea as mistakes can be made, as I was on show site and was a busy boy.

Any suggestions?  Can I merge offline UR4S to one channel of an online UR4D?  I was too busy to try it that day.

    Hi Sam,

In both the update utility and WWB6 I can not update from within the application.  I am on W7 SP1.  Any suggestions?  And, where does WWB6 and/or the update utility put the download?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Indeed, every time I download an update from within WWB6, I can't find it and have to manually download the update.  Waste of time, every time.

I'm at the Venetian this week with 160+ wireless spread over five floors. I need an inventory list to keep track of my units, and to be able to get the units that were re-deployed back to their starting positions. Sure I can label 160 units, but as the freq is a unique number I can have a room monitor call me on the Nextel with the freq in question and I can easily look it up.

Right now I am using IAS to choose freqs and print my reports (print preview to a web browser; cut and paste to Excel to create a searchable/sortable document) and an AV cart with G1, H4, J5 and L3 receivers scanning to WWB6 to find the house RF and other issues. I would like to have one program doing all the work instead of two.

Here's a crappy shot of an IAS report, from the program, not my Excel report.
